Schedule Your Consultation <\/a><\/p>\r\n My mother came from Mexico, and on my father’s side, my grandfather was also an immigrant. When I was young, I was treated differently because of my accent. And I watched as my mother was given a hard time by immigration officers, even though she was a lawful permanent resident.<\/p>\r\n As much as my background could be a source of stress in my life, it’s also a source of pride. It grounded me in values I still carry today: persistence, accountability, and the expectation that rules should apply the same way to everyone.<\/p>\r\n After law school, I wasn’t sure what kind of law to practice. I cut my teeth on personal injury law, where I learned how to use my law degree to stand up for people being treated unfairly by the system.<\/p>\r\n I also gained a reputation among my peers as an excellent Spanish-speaking attorney. From there, it was a natural step to move into immigration work.<\/p>\r\n After years helping Texans with employment-based immigration<\/a>, our firm expanded into family immigration<\/a> and eventually humanitarian immigration<\/a> and deportation defense<\/a>. Our goal was to develop a practice that facilitates collaboration between families, businesses, investors, and workers.<\/p>\r\n Today, our firm represents entrepreneurs, investors, employers, and families who value transparency and long-term thinking. Immigration is complex, and often slow, but careful planning can make all the difference.<\/p>\r\n Our role is to walk clients through the process from start to finish, anticipating problems before they arise and providing clarity and stability at every turn.<\/p>\r\n Outside of the office or the courtroom, I can mostly be found spending time with my kids, golfing, or hitting the gym.
